Gebze Technical University is a well-known university as far as the academics is concerned. The university has got two campuses namely Cayirova Campus and Muallimkoy Campus. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral based programs to the students. There are four faculties and departments namely Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Basic Science, Faculty of Management and Faculty of Architecture, nine institutes and three Departments under the Rectorate. Under these faculties and institutes, various undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs are offered by the university.
The university is equipped with highly qualified and expert faculties in order to guide students for their future. As of 2018, the university is providing education to more than 8000 students. The university is famous for its research programs.
Gebze Technical University Campuses
Gebze Technical University has two campuses namely Cayirova Campus which covers the area of 245,000 square meters and Muallimkoy Campus which covers the area of 3,800,000 square meters. These two campuses have many departments functioning in it. The university has got the green campus. It is an urban infrastructure which provides students with cafeteria, athletic arena, auditoriums, halls, classrooms, laboratories for each department, healthcare facilities and theatre. The campus is completely safe for the students. Students can become the part of around 35 registered student clubs and get involved in around 300 activities organised by them.
The university’s library is located in the Cayirova Campus and covers the area of 4,177 square meters. The library highly stocked with more than 10,000 books and periodicals, 9705 e-journals, magazines and databases. The library provides digital access to the various databases and digital media for the students and faculties to study and go for their research work.
