The Netherlands is a great destination for international students looking for quality education in Europe. The Netherlands was the first non-native English speaking country to offer courses taught in English to international students. International students can study in Dutch or English, making it a great option. Here are the latest scholarships available to African students

1.  2020 Justus & Louise Van Effen Excellence Scholarships At TU Delft

TU Delft – the Netherlands is providing a fully-funded scholarship opportunity to high achieving students who are interested in studying a degree program at the Institution. Justus & Louise Van Effen Excellence Scholarships are financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940s and strongly believed technological developments will contribute to solving societal issues. Applicants must be an excellent international applicant admitted to one of TU Delft’s MSc program, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in their bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university.

2.   Maastricht University Scholarships 2021 Holland

Applications are open for the Maastricht University Scholarships Holland. The Maastricht University Holland High Potential Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarship. All International Students from any country can apply for this Scholarship, Maastricht University offers 24 Fully funded Scholarships to Study in Holland. Maastricht University Ranks 121st in world University Rankings 2021.

Application deadline: 1st February 2021

Eligibility: International students that hold nationality in a country outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam and meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands.

3.  Holland Government Scholarships for International Students at TU Delft – Netherlands 2021

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science is offering international students scholarships to study at TU Delft for the 2021 academic session. The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. Part of the scholarships are meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to study in Holland.

Application Deadline: 1st February 2021 (23:59 CET)

Eligibility: International students

Value and Duration of Award: € 5.000 in the first academic year for Non-EEA students
