Below are the latest scholarships in Sweden for international students;

1.  Chamber of Commerce International Awards at Uppsala University

The Uppsala University is offering a wonderful opportunity through its Swedish Chamber of Commerce international awards to high achieving students who are willing to undertake a degree program at the Institution. Uppsala University is an international research university located in Sweden. It enables you to gain foundation knowledge in a subject area that matches your professional and personal interests. 

Application Deadline: February 1, 2021

Eligible Countries: International students

Value: Entire cost or part of tuition fees

Eligibility: Applicants must;

·         Be a resident of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.

·         Demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.

·         Only be awarded this application for a degree program at Uppsala University if chosen as a priority (the program which you have ranked the highest of the programs you can choose at University Admissions).

·         Have applied for the Bachelor’s or Master’s program before the University Admissions deadline.

·         Need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

2.  IPOET Scholarships At Chalmers University of Technology

The Chalmers University will be offering around 50 IPOET scholarships funded by the Swedish Council for Higher Education, to prospective fee-paying students who are looking at pursuing a degree program at the Institution. This program will provide a 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters/2 year program). Students who excel during their first year of studies may receive an increased reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition fees during the second and final year of studies.

Application Deadline: January 15, 2021

Eligible countries; international

Value: tuition fee

Type: postgraduate

Eligibility:

·         Applicant must be applying for the master’s degree program in any of their chosen subject offered by the Chalmers University of Technology for the academic year 2020-2021.

·         Applicants must be International Students

·         Applicants must need to meet the English language requirements.

·         Applicants must meet the general and specific entry requirements.

3.  Avancez Scholarship at Chalmers University

The Chalmers University of Technology will award several scholarships funded by the Chalmers Foundation and these are available to citizens from non-EU/EEA countries that are liable to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education.

Application Deadline: 15th January 2021

Eligible Countries: All non-EU/EEA countries

Value:

·         A 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters / 2-year program)

·         Students who excel during their first year of studies may receive an increased scholarship reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition fee during the second and final year of studies

·         No funds are transferred to the scholarship laureates

 Type: Masters

Eligibility:

·         Applicant must be an international student

·         Applicants must be proficient in the English language

·         Applicants must have good academic records

 4. International Mastercard funding At Chalmers University of Technology

Applications are invited for the International Mastercard funding which will be provided to applicants who want to study for a degree program at The Chalmers University of Technology. Chalmers MasterCard is a MasterCard program for Chalmers Alumni, employees, students, and friends. A part of the Chalmers MasterCard turnover is used to fund the Chalmers MasterCard Scholarship. To apply for the award, students are required to take admission in the postgraduate degree coursework at the university. After being enrolled, you are eligible to apply for the award.

Value of Award: 280 000 SEK reduction of the tuition fees

Type: Masters

Eligibility:

·         Applicant must be an international student

·         Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree program

·         Applicants have to fulfill the minimum language requirements of the university
