1. 2021 Ashinaga Fully-funded Scholarships For Orphans From Sub-Saharan Africa

Ashinaga is a Japan-based nonprofit organization, which provides educational and emotional support to orphaned students. This organization is offering scholarships to students from select African countries to study for a degree at the world’s leading universities in countries such as Japan, the US, UK, etc. To  be eligible for this scholarship program, Applicants must: Be an orphan, having lost one or both parents, Be 23 or younger, having been born after October 1, 1995, and  be committed to returning to Sub-Saharan Africa once they have finished their studies abroad

Application Deadline: 19th February 2021

Eligible countries: Angola, Botswana, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe

Value: Full scholarship that covers the cost of tuition, accommodation (during the terms and vacation), insurance, flight, and provides a monthly stipend which covers food and necessary academic costs.

2.   International Honors Scholarships At Waseda University

Waseda University is offering International Honors Scholarships to international students who are seeking to pursue a degree program at the Institution. At this university, there are numerous facilities students can benefit from that give them the best possible preparation and support. The applicant must receive a place to study a degree program at the institution and applicants are advised to demonstrate their English language ability by the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE

3.   Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship At University of Tokyo

The Japanese Government is offering scholarship opportunities to International students who are looking at acquiring a degree program at the University of Tokyo – Japan. The number of applicants to be nominated by the Graduate School of Science to the University of Tokyo, as well as the number to be subsequently nominated by the University of Tokyo to MEXT, shall be finalized after the application period has closed. In the last round (application for 2020 entrance) each Graduate Schools were allowed to nominate at most one applicant, and the University of Tokyo was allowed to nominate at most three applicants to MEXT.

4.  Foundation for Education International Scholarship At Soka University
