This is a partial fee-based scholarship that will be put towards tuition fees for one year of study. Applicants can be either entering their first year of an undergraduate degree or entering a postgraduate degree program at Victoria University of Wellington.

The University Council of the University of Otago, on the recommendation of the Senate, awards doctoral Scholarships to candidates proceeding to a course of supervised doctoral study at this University. These scholarships are available only to students seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification.

The University of Otago International Master’s Award provides funding to support international Master’s students studying at the University of Otago. Research Master’s scholarships support students by providing funds for their research or thesis. The Scholarship is available to both domestic and international students. Candidates for professional doctorates, as well as the Ph.D., are welcome to apply.
