Fellowships are no longer just for graduate or postgraduate students. There is a growing roster of merit-based professional fellowship opportunities that provide entry into a first job, a career change, fund international work experience, social enterprises, and so on. Professional fellowships are funded by a wide range of organizations including foundations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, universities, media, and corporations.

1.  Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship For Women From Developing Countries

The International Peace Research Association Foundation invites applications for the Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship in Peace and Development Studies for Women from countries in the Global South who have already been accepted to a graduate program in peace studies from an accredited university. This fellowship is available to those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree and have been accepted into a graduate program, and whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of IPRA. To apply applicants should provide; Three Letters of Recommendation (recommenders must email letters directly to Ms. Crystal Money.) and a Letter of Acceptance to your graduate program

2.  International Fellowships At Lethbridge School of Graduate Studies

Lethbridge School of Graduate Studies – Canada is offering the International Fellowships to high achieving students who are looking at pursuing a degree program at the Institution. The university is committed to providing students with an unparalleled university experience and offers many exciting education abroad opportunities. Applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

·        Academic achievement  (minimum admission average of 3.3 GPA for Masters and 3.5 GPA for Ph.D.).

·        Must have the potential for contribution in the respective field of study.

·        Will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

3.  ACU Coventry University Fellowships For African Academics

The ACU is pleased to announce that ACU member, Coventry University, UK, will host two Fellowships in 2020. As part of the ACU’s established Fellowships program, two Coventry University Fellowships are available to academic staff to support research mobility between Coventry University and ACU member institutions in Africa and India. Applicants should first identify and contact a potential collaborator at Coventry University to obtain their consent to the collaboration before submitting the online application form. Applicants are encouraged to contact potential collaborators directly.

4.  International Fellowships At University of Southern Denmark

Applicants are invited for the International Fellowships which is provided to individuals who are seeking to study for a degree program at the University of Southern Denmark. The objective of the fellowship is to support students who want to undertake a Ph.D. degree in video-based methods for studying social practices at the Department of Design and Communication. Applicants must have completed a relevant master’s degree with a good assessment by the application deadline. Applicants must also be highly proficient in the English language and – if the applicant does not speak Danish they must be willing to learn Danish. It is also important that applicants must have a state of the art knowledge of video technology and a strong interest in becoming an expert in the study of social practices.
